Work Instruction

A work instruction is a document with text and pictures describing in detail how to accomplish a specific job. It defines a sequence of different process steps linked to operations (e.g. at a machine). The work instruction should be visible and accessible at the work site and fully understood by the operator. Work instructions are Level 3 documents of the quality system.
