Japanese expression for “automatic unloading”. In the context of lean manufacturing, hanedashi describes a function of machines, tools or equipment to automatically unload and place the part after the operation in a specific position that is optimal for the operator to move the part forward to the next station. In the best case, the operator only needs to load the workstation.
