A3 Report

A document in the size of A3 (297 x 420mm), used to summarize written information for problem solving, planning exercises or just project reports. A general rule for the content is to describe the problem with some background data and specific product or process characteristic, to define the target situation, to make a root cause analysis, to define actions and countermeasures, and to summarize the success of implemented actions. This A3 document is visibly displayed in meeting or reporting areas, such as team corners or war rooms and are reviewed on a regular basis.
